So you could make your own instance and read everything in exactly the UI you want? Customize sorting and discovery via your own algorithms?

PS: Looks like you can't link to external accounts on a typical Mastodon instance the way I did. When you search for "potus@threads.net" and click on the result it works.
I don’t think a lot of instances are federating with Threads though. Content on threads often violates most fedi server rules like hate speech, bullying etc.
