Just as Google-enhanced output and Wikipedia-enhanced output has helped my writing/thinking, I believe LLM-enhanced output also helps me. Plus, I personally gain more benefit from using an LLM as a researcher than as a writer.

Using LLMs for research is completely different from using them to write for you. And if you're using them to write about the results of research, you're almost certainly getting a lot less value out of the whole exercise.
