BMW was always aiming to theoretically reduce their number of workers to 0. So not surprising they prepare these next level robots to approach this. They take the opportunity now as others pushed the competition recently (Tesla, China and Japan) and so hardly anyone will accuse them as worker-killers. But this doesn't mean anyone else will follow in the EU.
