lithium can cause permanent damage to facial twitches

its called tardive diskonesia and it basically looks like you're chewing. its permanent.

the only reason i know this is i want to a nami talk like 20 years ago and a doctor talked about it. how it was a great medicine but people were getting tardive diskonesia in large numbers. yeawh fuck that. i'll take my latuda.

The article is about those false myths, like the one you are peddling here, as the reason why the most effective drug against bipolar disorder isn't being used to the extent it should. Bipolar is a life threatening illness, and lithium has both better outcomes and less side effects than any other mood stabilizer.

Do you even know how toxic antipsychotics are? The spectre of side effects are much worse than tremors. Also tardive dyskinesia is also a side effect of Latuda. Less common than strokes or seizure, but you rather want to be shaking than dead right?
