Ubuntu Code of Conduct v2.0 (ubuntu.com)

HN has been recently debating what expectations we have of open source developers, in the light of a developer releasing bizarre updates to two particular packages on NPM, 'colors' and 'faker'. I think we all have expectations that go beyond the mere terms of the license. Ubuntu's code of conduct makes some of these expectations explicit, and I thought it would be interesting to discuss.

This is my favourite part of the Ubuntu code of conduct:

> Step down considerately

> When somebody leaves or disengages from the project, we ask that they do so in a way that minimises disruption to the project. They should tell people they are leaving and take the proper steps to ensure that others can pick up where they left off.
