I guess that's how it is in America. If you are lucky enough to live in the Nordics, you pay far, far less, sometimes nothing at all. I don't think anywhere near 3000 a month for 3 kids is normal in most of other EU either.
So, over here car seats may be a much bigger factor than daycare costs.
It's free for over-3s in Scotland, and while I can't quite remember what it cost for a 2-year-old, I know it was around the £500/month mark.
You could put two children through the local Montessori nursery for three grand a month, but frankly the parents (and children) there are a bit odd. Nice enough, just a bit odd.
I work in research and people post their papers there. Signal to noise ratio is getting worse and worse though.. My "favorite" was probably an AI generated post (3 em dashes in one sentence, its not this.its that. And so son) about how bad AI is and how it hallucinates.
Well, maybe, but that seems like a deliberately uncharitable interpretation of the question, which I interpreted more as "Can you summarize the video in ~1 line?" - or at least closer to that than "Can you give me the answer the video comes to without specifying the question it asks?"
Even in those terms the answer given isn't really an answer because it just gives an expression with undefined variables.
EU will basically become us colony, commit to buy a lot of lng, oil (3x more than currently), nuclear tech, ai chips while not putting up any tariffs, trade barriers, corporate responsibility/sustainability demands, carbon accounting, network fees on US import. It will also accept US automobile regulations, US notified bodies. In return US will charge 15% tariffs on all imports from EU
US LNG already functionally unlimited already. Mismatch is getting heavy/sour crude for diesel etc for us gulf coast where domestic shale crude is light/sweet. Could build expensive refineries in south to fix mismatch, or as someone else noted, invade VZ and bring up to full utilization.
yes suppose to be maximize gluteus as squat joke but maxglute for brevity.
(LLMs are good at explaining the jargon). Shipping just got 3-4 times more expensive. Not just crude oil, also bulk, chemicals... There are not enough ships and there is not enough bunker diesel - normally costs 400$/t, now 1100$/t
Depends very much on the PHEV. Some are still more efficient even in mild hybrid mode. We have a Niro PHEV and it needs 4.5-5l/100km when the battery is "empty" (20% charge). We looked at Sportage and 3008 PHEVs and they were more like 7-8l/100km after the battery is empty.
His pace was 4:38 over 7.2km and his track seems to backtrack at times so either the carrier was doing weird maneuvers or he is running faster than they are carrier.
I imagine they are in no rush to get closer to Lebanon. So maybe they are running in circles
He's running laps while the ship is moving. The little circles is him backtracking against the direction of the ship. It seems to me the ship is just going in a straight line.
