The Amstrad CPC 464 plus is what I grew up with. In the footnote sure it was fast to jump into BASIC but of course loading from cassettes took ages :)

I got introduced to BBC Basic on Amstrad examples with graphics as a kid and it got me hooked on programming.


I don't find the Windows SDK too bad, but I tried React Native for Windows and building each simple app took up 1GB+ of space.
