I'd say sweden is quite corrupt but the population is very blind to it.

See for example how an horrible pink "sculpture" could cost over 8 million euros.

Nah, they are there because they have a following of readers.

Aren't there several papers that indicate that the productivity boost doesn't exist when you start measuring productivity instead of going by feels?

You get a notification by post if someone requested your info.

for now

Don't forget the threat from incompetent developers who have been working by copy pasting things from stackoverflow without understanding what they are doing since several years.

Those use cases don't work with completely locked down OS.

Also you can plug a mouse in a console… that's a weird excuse.

I don’t need to game in the same OS that I do other things. But having two sets of hardware seems like a waste.

Having a useless locked down machine isn't a waste?

Not if I can just leave that sandbox when I want to (boot another OS/mode/leave a sandbox etc) no?

You can't leave, it's a locked machine, that's the whole point of a locked machine.

You want to eliminate the freedom of running the software you desire for everyone to hopefully mitigate cheating?

How have you made this logical leap - that root of trust implies only being able to run vendor-approved software?

Taking a probabilistic approach to ban people… so if enough people start cheating it's fine?

I've seen SQL injection and leaked API tokens to all visitors of a website :)
