No, not at all. I registered with my real ID card, completed the face verification, and I never used a VPN. That is exactly why this makes no sense to me. I still do not know what the compliance issue even was because I never received any clear email explaining it. I only realized something was wrong when my customers told me they could not complete payment. Their support has been terrible.
I checked this tool, especially the image generation part, and I don’t think it’s using OpenAI or Gemini... models at all. I’m curious what it’s actually using?
Yeah seems likely. I've seen this pattern CONSTANTLY on reddit where one account asks a question and some other account has just the thing they need ... their own product that just happens to be what was asked for.
In this case they seem to have their roles confused.
If Chat18GPT is truly different, then the difference is probably in memory, prompting, conversation structure, or how it keeps the experience coherent over time.
I tried this for a bit out of curiosity, and my first reaction was is this actually a custom model setup, or is it basically ChatGPT with the restrictions removed??!
What surprised me is that the public alpha18.1 model seems to have almost no visible limits at all compared with the usual chat products. That made me wonder what is actually different under the hood, because if this is already what alpha18.1 does, then what exactly is alpha18.5 Plus supposed to add on top of that? LOL
Honest question, how are people trusting this already? I keep seeing it everywhere this week, but it is basically a tool that can touch files and run commands... The hype feels fast for something that can wreck your machine if you install the wrong thing, so just why and how
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube feel free, yet they quietly turn every swipe into ad money. Tell the calculator a little about your daily routine and it uncovers the tab running in the background. Most people are shocked by the number that pops up.
